Juju is a concept created by me. It started with the idea of finding a way to demotivate people from smoking. At first, the idea was to promote lollipops to serve as an alternative to smoking. But then I came across 2 major problems:
- Lollipops contain sugar & that isn’t a healthy alternative to the fatal cigarette.
- People also smoke when they’re stressed & a lollipop is less likely to provide the same relief.
So, the solution was to create a brand of lollipops that are sugarfree hence keeping it healthy. Also, to deal with the stress the lollipops will contain *CBD, which is legal in many nations & has proven to help with stress & other mental disorders.
Now, lollipops are usually associated with children & my product is mainly aiming at adult smokers. Keeping that in mind, I kept the packaging similar to that of a pack of cigarettes but made it vibrant & colourful. People also have a variety of cigarette types to choose from hence I decided to include flavours too. Further, I also designed tin boxes which I call patron packs, that will consist of 35 lollipops. These packs can then be used to refill the consumers portable 5 pack that they’ll mostly be carrying around in their pocket.
The company which is yet a concept developed by me, would not only aim at reducing the population of smokers but also curb pollution & help the environment. This would be achieved by producing the packaging from recycled paper using an environmentally efficient method. Also, social campaigns would be carried out where smokers would be motivated to give in their cigarette butts & cigarettes for a reward. This exchange would help us collect this waste which is highly polluting & we would then recycle it via partnered companies.
I have developed the branding, packaging & marketing strategy for this company which hopefully I will bring into existence soon. I truly hope y’all find it worthy of being featured on your reputed site.
There are 1000’s of fascinating designs out in the world & I hope someday mine becomes a part of those. I have definitely haven’t seen it all yet but below are the points that I hope make my packaging design unique:
- I created it myself from scratch.
- During my research, I didn’t come across any lollipop packaging projects as such so I guess that makes it a bit unique.
- I have developed my own 3D mockups unique to this project by myself.
- Lollipops in a cigarette-like packaging
- The concept & strategy.
